(NYSE:FCN) today announced that Carlyn Taylor, Global Co-Leader of the Company’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment, has been named the 2016 Woman of the Year in Restructuring by the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (“IWIRC”).

Ms. Taylor, who is also FTI Consulting’s Industry Initiative Leader and Chief Executive Officer of FTI Capital Advisors, has led more than 140 restructuring and bankruptcy engagements advising debtors and creditors over the past 25 years. Her clients include companies in the telecommunications, media and technology (“TMT”) sector, as well as financial institutions and funds.
Ms. Taylor also founded FTI Consulting’s TMT industry practice, which under her leadership grew into a team of more than 120 professionals. During her time as TMT practice leader, Ms. Taylor recruited and mentored to promotion 20 senior managing directors.
