'Goblin Slayer' Season 2 Possible Air Date, Spoilers: Goblins Evolve, Interrupts Orcbolg’s Date?

The goblins in the “Goblin Slayer” manga and anime are often depicted as simple creatures that are capable of learning. However, it would appear that “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 might just feature the biggest changes in the hated creatures yet. They might even evolve far enough to integrate into human society in order to attack during the Harvest Festival. This would then be an interruption to Goblin Slayer’s long-awaited date with Miss Receptionist.

As OtakuKart recently reported, the story of Orcbolg is far from over. “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 will tell more adventures of the storied individual who stubbornly ignores grander prey in favor of exterminating goblins. When the next season starts, the first few scenes might depict a happier environment where the murderous hell spawns have been defeated. Unfortunately, this might not be the case.

If the second season follows the same plotline as the manga, “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 will focus heavily on the relationships of Orcbolg and everyone around him. Specifically, it will feature the date between him, Cow Girl, and Miss Receptionist. However, during the interval, the specialist will note how there are practically no requests for goblin exterminations.

Far from celebrating that fact, however, Goblin Slayer will have an internal monologue about how the goblins might be preparing for something big. What’s more, during the build-up towards the Harvest Festival in “Goblin Slayer” Season 2, the stoic adventurer will note many strange figures among the crowds. This could be a sign that the goblins have evolved to the point that they can successfully infiltrate human settlements.

Unfortunately, fans will need to wait until “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 premieres to find out for sure if this will be the case. As for when that will be, best guesses put it in late 2020. The animation studio that will be working on it is currently engaged in numerous projects, so “Goblin Slayer” will have to wait.
