With the end of the anime’s first season, there has been a lot of interest surrounding any news with regards to “Goblin Slayer” Season 2. However, since there is a lack of news on that front, publications and fans are left to make predictions based on available information. As for what viewers can expect in the upcoming season, Goblin Slayer might actually start dating Cow Girl and Miss Reception Lady.
As OtakuKart recently pointed out, there has yet to be any official announcement with regards to when “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 is expected to return. While the last scene in the final episode of season one did promise the return of the anime, this doesn’t really mean anything, at the end of the day. A lot of properties have promised to come back in the past, only to be canceled for one reason or another.
On the other hand, if the studio behind the anime does end up working on it this year, “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 might premiere in late 2020 or early 2021. After all, quality does demand time and this could lead to a long production schedule for the show.
Regarding the actual content that fans can expect, “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 will likely pick up right from where the final episode of the series ended. If this is the case, the Harvest Festival will still be going on and this could promise some interesting developments for the protagonist.
Assuming that the anime will follow the direction of the manga, “Goblin Slayer” Season 2 will kick off with Orcbolg going on a date with both Cow Girl and Miss Reception Lady on the same day. He will accompany his childhood friend in the morning and do the same with his admirer in the afternoon. What might really surprise fans about such a development, however, is the fact that Goblin Slayer actually understands what his actions mean.
