Godiva, the acclaimed Belgian chocolatier, partners with luxury fruit purveyor Ginza Sembikiya and the renowned Japan Agricultural Cooperatives Group (JA-Zenchu) to present an exclusive, indulgent delight - Ginza Chocolat Daifuku, featuring three unique luxury fruit-chocolate combinations.
These legends have crafted an amazing Ginza Chocolat Daifuku, available in three delicious varieties, each featuring specialty fruit from different prefectures. Daifuku, which are traditional sweets that hold a sweet filling wrapped in a thin, sticky rice layer, has reached new heights with this treat.
The first of these delights features the Tochiotome strawberry from Tochigi Prefecture, noted for its perfect blend between tartness and sweetness. Pair this with the rich chocolate, and you'll experience heaven on earth.
The Koryoku Kiwi, recognized for its vibrant green flesh and high sugar content, hails from Kagawa Prefecture. It promises to create a perfect match with mochi sticky rice coating and smooth chocolate cream.
Lastly, the Kumquat from Kagoshima Prefecture, characterized by its mildly sour flesh and sweet skin, offers an exciting contrast to the rich chocolate ganache.
This divine combination of luxury fruit and chocolate takes daifuku to a whole new, decadent level. Although delectable, they come with a price. However, for fans of Godiva and Sembikiya, or daifuku in general, it's a price worth paying, particularly because the sweets are only available in limited quantities.
Godiva, the Belgian chocolatier, has been creating waves amongst its Japanese devotees with a range of stunning exclusives, combining its signature chocolate with delicious local specialties like yokan and koji as part of the Godiva x Zen-Noh Collaboration Project.
Meanwhile, according to the HTF Market Intelligence, the Global Sugar-Free chocolate market is expected to experience a 7.5% CAGR between 2023-2029.
Interestingly, Godiva Chocolatier is one of the many players covered in the research. The other noteworthy companies include The Hershey Company, Lindt & Sprungli, Russell Stover Candies, Ghirardelli Chocolate Company, TRU Chocolate Inc., Coco Polo LLC, Whitman's Candies Inc., Russell Stover Chocolates LLC, and Abdallah Candies Inc.
