“Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 is set to accumulate a lot of viewers for ABC, the show’s mother network. Since it aired its first season back in 2005, the medical drama has managed to pull in millions of viewers worldwide.
Even minor characters are recognized overseas, as has been experienced by one of the show’s cast members, Debbie Allen, who plays Catherine Avery, CarterMatt reported. Allen revealed that a fan recognized her when she went to a club in Cuba and was surprised she was identified given she isn’t a major character on the show. Allen will be returning on “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 and said that the next installment is going to be “hot.”
And given that “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 has been labeled the “Season of Love,” it might very well be just that. However, romance is complicated, especially when it’s mixed with work, and the next installment is going to heavily feature this concept.
In season 14, Dr. Teddy Altman (Kim Raver) returned to Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital and revealed to a patient that she’s carrying the child of Dr. Owen Hunt (Kevin McKidd). It can be recalled that Hunt urged Altman to leave the hospital as he didn’t want her working in an environment where her husband died. But a fateful and complicated reunion is going to take place in “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 as Raver’s character has been promoted to a regular status in the next installment.
Right now, it’s unclear how the showrunners are going to handle the meeting. However, McKidd did tease that the reunion that will take place in “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 is going to be an “unhappy encounter.”
Fans of the medical drama have been growing ever since it was released and it’s surprisingly pulling in more viewers because it’s now available on Netflix. It’s Facebook page alone has 24 million followers and it’s expected that when “Grey’s Anatomy” Season 15 airs on Sept. 27, it will pull in numbers close to that figure.
