The auction, which was recently completed, was held in partnership with California-based Machinery Network Auctions.
Chris Mechanical Services Ltd. has been providing industrial equipment design, maintenance, and manufacturing services in Calgary, Alberta as a CNC fabricating machine shop. The company focused on delivering quality innovative products in the oilfield service industry. On December 18, 2015 FTI Consulting Canada Inc. was appointed as Receiver, pursuant to an Order of the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta, of all the assets, undertakings and properties of Chris Mechanical Services Ltd. and those related Companies listed in the Receivership Order.
Among the assets sold through the auction were metal machining, oil field services equipment, inventory, and support equipment. Over 800 lots were featured in the auction that brought in sales of over $1.3 million.
