“Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 18 will mark the series' return after a short break. This chapter is called "Ai no i ka 'ape he mane'o no ko ka nuku” and this translates to “He who eats ape is bound to have his mouth itch.” It will feature guest appearances of big names like Joan Collins.
As per CBS press release, “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 18 will be about an undercover job. By going undercover, the agents will try to stop more deaths due to steroids being used in gyms.
The official synopsis for “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 18 reads: “Tani (Meaghan Rath) and Junior (Beulah Koale) go undercover at a gym to track down a deadly batch of steroids that's killing users before the drugs claim any more victims. Also, Danny and MacGarrett sub as bodyguards for Danny's high maintenance ex-mother-in-law, Amanda Savage (Joan Collins), a wildly famous romance novelist with whom he has never gotten along.”
Moreover, “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 18 will also highlight Danny’s past since his former mother-in-love showed up. They meet again and this will bring back memories. He will work for her as a bodyguard and it is obvious that Amanda is not very fond of him and seems to prefer Steve McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin).
Aside from Collins, Shawn Mokuahi Garnett (Flippa), Tim Lounibos (Mr. Chen), Lance Rae (Organizer), Kellie King (Millie), Nicholas Hayner (Matt Zenner) and Brett Zimmerman (Derek) will also be in “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 18. Eagle Egilsson directs while Matt Wheeler and David Wolkove wrote the story.
Meanwhile, fans will not be able to watch “Hawaii Five-0” season 9 on Netflix as the show was taken out from its programming list. The last time the police procedural drama aired on the streaming site was on Feb. 24 and the first eight seasons would be removed as well. The show will be moved to CBS All Access for exclusive broadcast.
“Hawaii Five-0” season 9 episode 18 on March 8 at 9 p.m. on CBS Network.
