‘How to Get Away With Murder’ season 3’s episode 9 entitled, “Who’s Dead”, is set to reveal the mysterious victim under the sheet. The preceding episodes have been leading up to this moment. It was speculated that a major male character will be killed off soon enough.
The synopsis for episode 9 posted on Carter Matt stated, “Annalise (Viola Davis) receives a tip about A.D.A. Atwood that leads to a heated confrontation with Nate (Billy Brown). Meanwhile, the deadly events leading up to Annalise’s house fire reveal who’s under the sheet.”
The victim under the sheet continues to remain a mystery up until this point in the series. The incoming episode’s promo seems to suggest that the dead body will belong to Frank (Charlie Weber) as he seen pointing a gun under his chin.
The preceding episode entitled "No More Blood" followed Frank as he attempted to make amends with Annalise by helping her out with her Charles Mahone-Wes plan. Despite helping her get Wes (Alfred Enoch) off the hook for Wallace Mahoney’s murder, Annalise still refused to forgive him. She said that he still indirectly killed her unborn child.
By the end of the episode, Frank pulled out a gun and pointed it at his chin. Annalise threatened that he pull the trigger but Bonnie (Liza Weil) ran into the room pleading for Frank to stop.
During an interview with Variety, Weber was asked whether his character would indeed be dead. He replied, “It’s certainly a possibility. You’ll have to find out later, but Frank is in a very, very, very bad place. For Frank, that’s a bold statement.”
He also explained, “I don’t think he’s lost the will to live. I think the willingness to do that is if it will please Annalise. I don’t think he wants to die — he wants her to want him to live.”
‘How to Get Away With Murder’ season 3’s episode 9 entitled, “Who’s Dead”, is scheduled to air on ABC on November 17, 2016. It was directed by Bill D'Elia and written by Michael Foley.
