James and Gwendolyn Jurney own Groupe, the stylish downtown men's store. They send their jazz-saxophonist son to high school at Idyllwild Arts Academy and have invited Pamela to spread the good news about the Academy and the Idyllwild Arts Summer Program, which share 205 forested acres in the mountains of Southern California.
Idyllwild Arts Academy students come from all over the U.S. and three dozen different countries. Each of these 300 talented teenagers takes a challenging college-prep curriculum while also specializing in Music, Dance, Theatre, Visual Arts, Film & Digital Media, InterArts/Fashion Design, or Creative Writing, learning their craft from professional artists.
The Idyllwild Arts Summer Program's 300-plus artists teach dance, film, music, theatre, creative writing, computer animation, fashion design, painting, sculpture, print-making, ceramics, jewelry-making, and more to people of all ages and skill levels--and countless workshops in Native American arts offer an immersive cultural experience.
If you’re part of a prospective Idyllwild Arts family, please RSVP to [email protected] by February 27 to confirm your chance to learn about the beautiful happenings at Idyllwild Arts.
