SAN FRANCISCO, March 02, 2018 -- Industry Ventures LLC, a leading investment firm for venture capital, today announced that Lindsay Sharma and Ira Simkhovitch have been promoted from Vice Presidents to Principals on its secondary investment team. The firm also announced the promotion of Eric Yee from Associate to Senior Associate.

Before joining Industry Ventures in 2014, Sharma was a Principal in corporate strategy and development at Intuit, leading mergers and acquisition activities. Prior to Intuit, Sharma developed private equity and investment banking industry expertise while working at Great Hill Partners and Bear Stearns. She earned an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in business administration in finance and accounting from Indiana University.
Simkhovitch also joined Industry Ventures in 2014. Prior to Industry Ventures, Simkhovitch led fund investment processes and strategic research initiatives at Lazard, The Carlyle Group, Clinton Group, and ZM Capital. He earned an MBA with distinction from Columbia Business School and a BS in engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Industry Ventures is also pleased to announce the promotion of Eric Yee to Senior Associate as part of the firms’ associate program. Yee joined the firm in 2016 and previously was an Analyst at Moelis & Company, where he worked on several M&A transactions and capital market engagements for technology companies. He earned a BA and MA in economics and finance from Claremont McKenna College.
