Jennifer Aniston was a common face on TV and she actually rose to fame through the “Friends.” However, she left the scene a long time ago and it has been 14 years since the said show ended. Soon, Justin Theroux’s ex-wife is making a comeback to the small screen and it was reported that she is anxious about it.
Jennifer Aniston is set to star with Reese Witherspoon in a still-untitled morning drama show that Apple is producing. Now, as the filming for the upcoming series starts moving forward this week, Hollywood Life claimed that the former “Friends” star is nervous since this is her first TV series in a long while.
It was added that Jennifer Aniston also feels pressured because she and Reese would be responsible for the success of the show. A source allegedly told the magazine, “Jen is telling friends she’s extremely anxious and nervous to return to TV. The anxiety of having a successful show is getting to her.”
The so-called insider further shared, “She’s also excited, however, the anxiety of having a successful show is getting to her. It’s been years since she’s had a big hit and Jen feels the pressure of having a successful show like ‘Friends’ again as that was her last big stint on TV.”
At any rate, it appears that this report about Jennifer Aniston being “extremely nervous” for her TV comeback is not true. Gossip Cop contacted the actress’ representative and it was told that it was a nonsense claim.
The fact-checking publication further stated that Jen’s spokesperson said that the actress actually feels the opposite, as she is quite excited for her new TV series with Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell.
“They are already having a blast and they have only started filming this week,” Jennifer Aniston’s rep told Gossip Cop.
GC pointed out that tipster being quoted in the article is suspicious because they can’t trace the actual person and HL can’t name him or her either. And since the report was entirely based on the “tips” that the source provided, it is likely that the story was fabricated.
