Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez are visibly deeply in love with one another. And because they are some of the biggest celebrities today, engagements rumors will likely not stop until the time it becomes a reality.
Just this week, Life & Style reported that the former New York Yankees star has started searching for the perfect ring to have once he pops the big marriage proposal. A source told the magazine that Rodriguez is also feeling anxious that he might end up buying the “wrong ring” for Lopez.
Note, though, that the report still needs to be verified by official representatives of Rodriguez and Lopez. However, if the retired Major League Baseball player has really started shopping for the perfect engagement ring, he most likely has an idea what JLo would love.
Even though the two have previously dismissed engagement rumors, Alex Rodriguez has obviously bought sparkly gifts for Jennifer Lopez. Back in summer, they were rumored to be getting married when the singer-actress was spotted wearing an eye-catching diamond ring while at the beach. Though the ring in question did not come with a “Will you marry me?” scene, Rodriguez said in the “Today” show that Lopez absolutely loved it.
This was not the last time Lopez and Rodriguez made headlines because of an expensive-looking bling. Last month, the couple watched a World Series game together where the “Shades of Blue” star was seen wearing a different ring with a chunk of diamond.
Then, they were also photographed exiting a jewelry store in a Florida mall. But there is still no hard evidence that Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez are, indeed, close to tying the knot.
Lopez and Rodriguez are believed to have met back in 2005 but only started dating in 2017. In the same “Today” show appearance, the former baseball shortstop explained why he feels it was better that they only started dating last year.
Rodriguez confirmed that he met Lopez when they were still in their 20s. But a relationship back then would not have worked because he “wasn't mature enough.” He further explained, “We're both in our 40s, we're both from New York. We both come from Latino backgrounds, we both have two kids. We've both been through a lot and can really appreciate each other, both the good and the challenges.”
