NEW YORK , Jan. 09, 2018 -- Justworks, the easy-to-use payroll, benefits, and HR support solution for businesses, today announced a new integrated health and wellness offering, including free access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), to help business owners better support their teams. Justworks’ customers’ benefits-eligible employees and their families now have access to resources for mental and physical health, legal and financial services and medical bill support through Health Advocate, a leading clinical health advocacy company.
Benefits-eligible employees of Justworks’ customers now have free access to:
- Mental health services (Employee Assistance Program): 24/7 access to confidential counseling services for mental health needs, including unlimited calls to the Health Advocate hotline and up to three in-person sessions with a local counselor at no cost.
- Medical bill saver: Negotiation services for medical and dental bills over $400 to help employees reduce their out-of-pocket costs.
- Work/life services: Confidential concierge service to help address legal and financial questions, and offer connections to local professionals and advisors. Additional services include child and elder care recommendations, nutrition advice and assistance with travel bookings.
Justworks understands that operating a business can be physically, emotionally and financially taxing, not just for entrepreneurs, but also for their employees. Research from the Center for Prevention and Health Services estimates that the workplace costs of mental illness and substance abuse disorders range from $79 to $105 billion each year. Access to this rich set of services helps business owners provide additional resources to take care of their teams, whatever their needs may be, and benefits their businesses.
“Small businesses are nothing without their teams, and we want to provide our customers with all the tools they need to keep employees and their families happy and healthy — in and out of the workplace,” said Isaac Oates, founder and CEO of Justworks. “It’s all part of Justworks’ mission to help entrepreneurs run their businesses and take care of their teams.”
Access to these services are fully covered for benefits-eligible employees of Justworks’ customers, as well as their spouses or domestic partners, children and parents. For more information on Justworks’ offerings, visit: www.justworks.com.
