NEW YORK, Dec. 21, 2017 -- KCAP Financial, Inc. (“KCAP”) (Nasdaq:KCAP) announced that Trimaran Advisors Management, L.L.C., a wholly-owned portfolio company of KCAP, has refinanced the majority of the capital structure of Catamaran CLO 2015-1 Ltd, a $463.8 million collateralized loan obligation fund. An affiliate of the investment manager is expected to retain a vertical strip of the refinanced securities to comply with U.S. risk retention.
