Katie Holmes was put in a bad light after it was reported that she does not want Jamie Foxx to be associated with Leonardo DiCaprio. But the two are friends, so to solve the problem, the “Dawson’s Creek” star allegedly asked her boyfriend to ditch his friend.
This allegation was published in Globe (via Gossip Cop) and it was added that Katie Holmes threatened to leave Jamie Foxx if he does not do what she asked for. It was just like “me or your friend, you choose” drama.
As for the purported reason why Tom Cruise’s ex is making this request, it is because Leo DiCaprio is known to be a playboy. A source supposedly told Globe, “Katie knows Leo’s one of the biggest skirt-chasers in Hollywood and Jamie already has a sweet tooth for eye candy.”
Katie Holmes allegedly wants Jamie Foxx to “settle down into family mode with her and Suri,” but if he continues to hang out with Leo, this will not happen. Jamie will only be in trouble if his “playing around” will go on since he is with friends who are doing the same.
In any case, Gossip Cop said this story is not true. It claimed that the tabloid’s report is simply ridiculous.
According to the publication, the source who tipped the magazine about Katie Holmes telling Jamie Foxx to cut ties with Leonardo DiCaprio is a phony tipster. Also, GC pointed out that if Suri’s mom really disliked the “Titanic” star, she would have avoided him at all costs when he attended Jamie’s birthday bash in December. She did not. Clearly, the report is a false narrative.
Meanwhile, Katie Holmes recently attended New York Fashion Week's Alice + Olivia show. As per In Style Magazine, the 39-year-old actress stepped out in a white halter-neck dress and channeled a Marilyn Monroe look with her bob hair. There is no sign of distress on her face so it is apparent that she and Jamie Foxx are doing great.
