KEMP, Texas, March 08, 2018 -- Larson Electronics, leader in industrial lighting, has released a color changing LED light tower, offering operators versatility, effectiveness and economic viability. This telescoping LED tower produces a high intensity output comparable to a 500-watt quartz work light, and is ideal for use in outdoor environments such as temporary maintenance operations, tank cleaning, and any other application that needs a powerful, rapid deployment light.
The WAL-TP-1X600RGB-25C LED light tower from Larson Electronics produces a wide flood beam, drawing just 60 watts @0.5 amps on 120 volt AC. This light tower assembly is an RGB unit consisting of 45 LEDs producing red, green and blue light of varying intensities. The LED unit is controlled using an included handheld remote with a 25-foot working distance. The wireless remote turns the light on and off, changes the LED color, dims the light, or set it to different operating modes such as steady burn, flash, strobe, color fade, and smooth fade. This lamp also includes internal memory of the last configuration in case power is cut.
This color changing LED telescoping light tower is designed to withstand demanding conditions and is waterproof and vapor proof. Durable, lightweight and adjustable between 3.5’ to 10’, this collapsible tower is highly portable. The LEDs are protected by a shatterproof polycarbonate lens. The LED lamp is standard equipped with male and female cord caps and connected via 25' of 16/3 SOOW cord, mounted with a stainless steel bracket that has 360/180 rotation and tilt.
“This color changing LED has a lot of outdoor temporary uses, but it’s probably one of our more unique towers for large scale events,” said Rob Bresnahan, CEO of Larson Electronics LLC. “It’s equipped with all the great features of our normal towers, but has this really cool wirelessly-controlled RGB fixture.”
