There are currently a lot of questions surrounding “Lost in Space” Season 2 and what it will be about, with the biggest mystery being the plot. What on earth is waiting for the Robinsons after being brought to what seems to be an entirely new galaxy? One of the most prevalent predictions right now is that the family will be forced to participate in a war between machines that span the galaxy.
As ScreenRant recently reported, the first season of the show ended with the cliffhanger featuring the show’s main family finding themselves truly lost in space. One could almost say that “Lost in Space” Season 2 is where the show’s true path finally begins, with a single family unit surviving against all odds.
In the upcoming season, these odds might just feature machines locked in a war, with the losing side searching for allies or resources. This could be where the Robinsons come in when “Lost in Space” Season 2 rolls around.
The premise is certainly nothing farfetched, especially considering what the characters have had to face up to this point. It was revealed during the final episode of the first season that there are more machines where the robot came from and they seem to have hostile intent. As to what they were planning to do with the humans, this mystery might be cleared up in “Lost in Space” Season 2.
As for when fans can expect to see the Robinsons return in “Lost in Space” Season 2, current predictions place the premiere somewhere around late 2019. Production was expected to wrap up back in January, but news on that front has been scarce. As a result, viewers are encouraged to wait for more information. If the show ends up premiering in early 2020, this will simply have to be the case.
