Miley Cyrus and her boyfriend Cody Simpson are allegedly planning to get married after getting engaged recently. The couple wants a small wedding that will take place at home as well just like how it was when the “Wrecking Ball” singer was married to Liam Hemsworth.
The wedding plans
Based on the report that appeared on Life & Style, Miley Cyrus is ready to tie the knot again and give marriage another try. It was claimed that currently, she is already engaged to Cody Simpson and they are in the stage of planning their wedding.
“Everyone thought Miley could be put off from marriage after Liam however it is not the case,” the tipster supposedly told the magazine. “In fact, she views their divorce as a learning experience. She has matured a lot since then and knows that Cody is the one.”
It was added that the couple is serious and they would like their ceremony to be intimate thus it will be a family and friends affair only. The source went on to say that it will be held in Hidden Hills, California where Miley Cyrus’ new mansion is located.
Miley and Cody’s dating history
Miley Cyrus and Cody have been dating for almost a year now. They confirmed their relationship just a few months after the former and Liam Hemsworth filed for divorce.
The relationship was on the headlines almost every day because, at that time, it has not been long since Cyrus and Hemsworth have called it quits. Also, the pair was often seen together in social media and their snaps were quite controversial. They finally admitted to dating after weeks of hanging out.
The truth
However, it appears that this report from Life & Style is totally false. This is because TMZ just reported that Miley Cyrus and Cody Simpson have broken up. The split was also confirmed by the songstress so there is no truth in the engagement and wedding news.
"A year ago, almost to this exact date, the media tried to tell my story for me, and control my narrative, and I'm just not accepting that,” Miley said. “And so today, it came out that me and my boyfriend have broken up.”
