Miranda Lambert is spending cold nights these days as she is back to being single after her breakup with Evan Felker. However, despite this, she is currently enjoying big success after releasing an album with her band, Pistol Annies.
Miranda Lambert along with bandmates Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley released their Interstate Gospel album early this month and it instantly became controversial due to the songs that it contains. In particular, the track “Got My Name Changed Back” made news because it was widely believed that Miranda Lambert is singing this as sort of revenge over her divorce from Blake Shelton.
It was said that the song “Got My Name Changed Back” is actually a subtle way for Miranda Lambert to diss her ex and many think the same way. In any case, the petite singer refused to name who she was referring to in the song but the lyrics clearly pointed to Blake Shelton.
So, how did Gwen Stefani’s boyfriend reacted to this? It was alleged that Blake Shelton was cool about it. The country singer was even quoted as saying that he also enjoyed the song as much as the other listeners did.
Gwen Stefani was also said to have reacted to the song but it could be a little annoying for Miranda Lambert because the “Hollaback Girl” singer allegedly finds the song “funny.” It was added that Gavin Rossdale’s ex did not mind at all and she doesn't feel threatened because she knew Blake Shelton is deeply in love with her.
Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert and her Pistol Annies group topped the charts with their “Got My Name Changed Back,” "When I Was His Wife," “Sugar Daddy” and “This Too Shall Pass.” These titles really stirred curiosity and this was one factor for the big success of their comeback album which the trio is enjoying right now.
