‘NCIS’ Season 16 Episode 11 Air Date, Spoilers: Gibbs’ Murder Investigation Stopped by the Defense Secretary in ‘Toil and Trouble’

“NCIS” season 16 episode 11 spoilers are here! It will continue from the last episode’s “What Child is This?” where Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and his team were sent to solve a case that was originally meant for the local police department. Apparently, they had to delay their holiday celebration plans in order to help the Metro PD that is already swamped with work.

“NCIS” season 16 episode 11 is called “Toil and Trouble” and it will show Gibbs being very disappointed as the U.S. Secretary of Defense wants him to stop digging on the murder case of the Navy. The summary for this episode reads: “Wynn Crawford (Mitch Pileggi) shuts down Gibbs’ murder investigation and demands that Special Agents McGee [Sean Murray] and Torres [Wilmer Valderrama] be arrested for their actions in the case.”

“NCIS” season 16 episode 11 will have many guest stars and they are Mitch Pileggi (Wynn Crawford, U.S. Secretary of Defense), Scott William Winters (Westley Clark, CIA Officer), Kasey Mahaffy (Dr. Patton Hartgrave), Angela E. Gibbs (Eden Penzance), Lauren Sweetser (Macy Grant) and Katie Von Till (Pamela Juventas). The first episode after the midseason break is directed by Leslie Libman and written by Christopher J. Waild.

Meanwhile, since “NCIS” season 16 is not yet airing in the U.K., but fans in that region can rejoice now as Fox UK already announced when the show is coming.

As per TV Wise, the popular American police procedural drama is arriving in the U.K. on Jan. 4, 2019 at 9 p.m. Like in the U.S. premiere, “NCIS” season 16 will open in the United Kingdom with the episode titled “Destiny’s Child” where Gibbs was shown temporarily replacing Director Vance as he was kidnapped and his whereabouts is unknown.

Meanwhile, “NCIS” season 16 episode 11 will return on Jan. 8, 2019 at 8 p.m. on CBS.
