“NCIS” season 16 episode 11 is next but it will not be shown this year since it is the first installment after the show’s short break. The mid-season finale titled “What Child Is This?” already aired on Dec. 11 and it ended on a happy note as the NCIS team was able to solve a case quickly that everyone was left with some time to celebrate the holidays.
To get an idea of what transpired in “NCIS” season 16 episode 10, here is a brief recap: The NCIS team was forced to investigate a case that was originally meant for the Metro PD. They accepted because the guys were already swamped with work over the holidays.
Initially, the case was about the murder of Jerome Murray, a retired military man. The investigation led the team to Vicious, a drug dealer and confirmed killer of Murray. The NCIS guys cornered him but he was killed on the spot when he fought back with a gun.
However, the case was not solved yet at this point as they found a baby inside Vicious’ home. They thought he could be the drug dealer’s child but it turned out that the baby was sold to him by a 17-year-old mother for 10 grand.
In any case, “NCIS” season 16 episode 11 will follow after “What Child Is This?” As mentioned on CarterMatt, the episode is titled “Toil and Trouble” and its synopsis reads: “United States Secretary of Defense Wynn Crawford (Mitch Pileggi) shuts down Gibbs’ murder investigation and demands that Special Agents McGee and Torres be arrested for their actions in the case.”
The guest stars for “NCIS” season 16 episode 11 include Mitch Pileggi, Scott William Winters (Westley Clark), Kasey Mahaffy (Dr. Patton Hartgrave), Angela E. Gibbs (Eden Penzance), Katie Von Till (Pamela Juventas) and Lauren Sweetser (Macy Grant).
“NCIS” season 16 episode 11 will air on Jan. 8 at 8 p.m. on CBS Network.
