Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are reportedly hoping to welcome a baby boy in the future. A recent article claimed that the Hollywood couple is open to having their third child together through various procedures such as surrogacy and adoption.
The report came from New Idea through a source purportedly close to Kidman. The insider claimed that the “Big Little Lies” actress and Urban not only want more child, but they are also hoping to have their first baby boy together.
“Nicole and Keith have been looking into options to help have a baby. While Nic’s grandmother had a baby late in life, Nicole knows it will be a struggle for her, so the couple [is] talking about surrogacy and adoption as well,” said the same source.
The fact that Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s daughters are no longer babies reportedly makes the actress want to have a new child in their home. The couple has two daughters together — 10-year-old Sunday Rose and 7-year-old Faith Margaret.
On the other hand, a representative for Kidman talked to the fact-checking media outlet Gossip Cop to deny New Idea’s report. The spokesperson said claims of Kidman and Urban planning to have a baby via adoption or surrogacy are “untrue.”
Whether or not Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban decide to have a third child, the couple is fairly familiar with the aforementioned procedures. Kidman gave birth to Sunday Rose in 2008 while they welcomed Faith via surrogacy in 2010. Kidman also has two adopted children from her previous marriage with Tom Cruise.
While Gossip Cop debunked New Idea’s recent report, it can be recalled that Urban’s wife opened up about hoping to have another child in a 2017 interview. “I still have the faintest hope that something may happen to me this year,” Kidman told Event Magazine. “Keith and I would love to have more babies. My grandmother gave birth to my mother at 49! I would be beyond happy and just welcome it with open arms.”
