‘Once Upon A Time’ Season 6, Episode 11 Spoilers: “Tougher Than The Rest” – Regina Conflicted After Seeing Robin Again

‘Once Upon A Time’ season 6’s episode 11, titled “Tougher Than The Rest,” will follow Regina and Emma as they attempt to escape Wishworld and return home. However, Regina becomes conflicted after seeing her love Robin in the other realm.

The synopsis for “Tougher Than The Rest” posted on TV Guide states, “Gideon (Giles Matthey) makes a confession to Belle (Emilie de Ravin) and Gold (Robert Carlyle) concerning his past whereabouts. Meanwhile, David (Josh Dallas) and Hook (Colin O’Donoghue) try to stop Gideon from confronting Emma (Jennifer Morrison); Regina (Lana Parilla) worries that an alternate world presents a better outcome; and Emma learns how to change her fate.”

As the season moves into its second half, Regina and Emma continue to figure out how to get back home. It seems that they will come across familiar faces through their travels in the Wishworld, with Robin of Locksley (Sean Maguire) being one of them.

In the sixth season’s winter finale, Regina became one of the most wanted fugitives in the land after crushing the hearts of Queen Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and King David (Josh Dallas) in order to wake Emma. Robin, who was very much alive in this world, appeared to stop them as they began their escape from the Wishworld.

The new episode will bring in more trouble for Regina and Emma as palace guards, led by a Prince Henry (Jared Gilmore), hunt her down believing that she is the Evil Queen.

Morrison said during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, “We have to find a way out, and we have several people after us because they all think Regina’s really the Evil Queen… She’s sought out as being this terrible person, so now Henry is after her trying to kill her. The danger is the entire kingdom is after us, and we’re just trying to figure out how to get back out to stop this weirdness.”

Parilla also revealed that her character may have doubts about leaving this other world since seeing her love Robin again. She said, “Regina’s dominated by her emotions most of the time, and seeing Robin really shook her up.” She continued, “She’s in a position where she has to figure out what she’s going to do with that relationship, and even though he’s not real, she has questions and she needs them answered. One of them is, ‘Was Robin better off without her?’ That’s her quest in the winter premiere. There’s still a part of her that is really hopeful.”

The promotional photographs posted on TV Fanatic show Emma and Regina as their try to navigate their way through the Enchanted Forest. It was also speculated that the other version of August (Eion Bailey) may be able to help the two get back hom.

‘Once Upon A Time’ season 6’s episode 11, titled “Tougher Than The Rest,” is scheduled to be released on March 5, 2017 on ABC. It was directed by Billy Gierhart and written by Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz. It will be followed by episode 12 titled, "Murder Most Foul," scheduled to be released on March 12.
