'One Piece' Chapter 916 Release Date, Spoilers: Heart Pirates Might Make Zoro and Luffy's Day Much Worse or Become Their Unexpected Allies

It seems that Luffy and Zoro's arrival in Bakura had been spoiled by the Heart Pirates back in chapter 914, but trouble has yet to catch up to the Straw Hat Pirate pair as of “One Piece” chapter 916. “One Piece” chapter 915's focus on the Sumo wrestling tournament and Urashima's obsession with Kiku was a side story that fleshed out the female samurai's background a bit but has yet to show the consequences of the Heart Pirates observing Luffy and Zoro entering Bakura.

It looks like “One Piece” chapter 916 will be bringing the pain with Trafalgar D. Water Law, captain of the Heart Pirates, facing off against the Straw Hat Pirate heroes in Bakura town. While the Heart Pirates were previously allies of the Straw Hat Pirates, chapter 914 revealed that Trafalgar was dead set on stopping Luffy and Zoro from making a commotion in Wano Country. Chapter 916 may help to explain what the Heart Pirates are doing in Wano country in the first place, as well as why Trafalgar is dead set on stopping Luffy and Zoro from making a mess in Wano Country.

While a potential battle with old allies may be a speed bump in “One Piece” chapter 916, if Zoro and Luffy are able to understand what the Heart Pirates are doing in Wano Country, they can probably recruit the old allies of the Straw Hat Pirates to assist them in rescuing O-Tama from the Beast Pirates.

Of course, the arrival of the Heart Pirates in Bakura will be dependent on the conflict between Kiku and Urashima being resolved after the Sumo wrestler's humiliation when Kiku cut off his topknot in Chapter 915. Fans who are excited about the upcoming chapter can look forward to “One Piece” chapter 916 being released in Shonen Jump's weekly issue on Sept. 3.
