‘One Piece’ chapter 974 release date, spoilers: Here’s the possible traitor’s identity plus plot prediction

“One Piece” chapter 974 will present an intriguing story because many revelations will come out in the open. There will still be a bit of flashback, but this is only to explain some points that are happening in the present time.

As mentioned, “One Piece” chapter 974 has been titled "Onward to Onigashima!!" and as it suggests that this will show the time when Luffy was to meet groups that he was supposed to form an alliance with. He was also about to meet Kinemon here, but it did not happen yet.

It was said that “One Piece” chapter 974 will also be the start of Act 4, where Luffy and Kaido might finally face each other and the former winning over the villain. Kaido is not as strong as thought; in fact, Oden could have defeated him in the past if only he was not distracted by the old hag.

But then, since Luffy is still not strong enough to beat Kaido, he needs help to fight him, and this is where the Scabbards come in. This is why he must meet Kinemon before Luffy face Kaido.

Hiyori and Denjiro will reveal their true identities to the people of Wano and instigate a rebellion. The samurai will be freed, and it could be Kaido’s downfall.

The traitor

It was suggested that Kajuro could be the traitor based on deduction reasoning. He could be the one leaking information to Orochi, especially about the Scabbards’ plan that led to Oden’s death.

Denjiro was a suspect at first, but he is protecting the princess from Orochi throughout her life, so it could not be him. Kawamatsu is in prison, so it is impossible for him to know and leak important information.

Nekomamushi, Raizo, and Inurarashi remained loyal to the Kozuki family while Kikunojo continues to go against Orochi since day 1. Kinemon has been protecting Momosuke while Ashura Doji even tried to kill Kaidou’s man, Jack. This leaves Kanjuro as the possible traitor.
