The wait for “One Punch Man” season 3 updates continues, and there seems to be no end in sight. However, there is one upcoming event that could be a perfect venue to announce new details about the anime’s future.
Will there be ‘One Punch Man’ season 3 announcements at 2021 Jump Festa?
One of the biggest anime and manga expo is still happening in December despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Every year, fans around the world look forward to the two-day Jump Festa since it has been a venue for major announcements from popular series under Shueisha’s catalog, which includes “One Punch Man.”
Before everyone gets their hopes up, note that there has not been any indication that “One Punch Man” will be featured in any of the Jump Festa events and stages on Dec. 19-20. But that also does not mean surprises cannot happen there. While it is fine to keep a little faith, fans should also remain open to the possibility that 2020 will end without any update about “One Punch Man” season 3.
‘One Punch Man’ season 3 release date
Viz Media has yet to announce the production of “One Punch Man” season 3, so it goes without saying that a release date is not available at this point. And even if the making of new episodes start in 2021, it might take a while before they even get on the small screen and streaming platforms.
The series has historically taken a good amount of time in production, especially after a studio change. At this point, fans should already accept the fact that they might have to wait for several years before being able to watch “One Punch Man” season 3.
‘One Punch Man’ season 3 plot: Will people finally realize how strong Saitama is?
The brewing plot for “One Punch Man” season 3 will have the heroes encounter more monsters. As for Saitama, his rivalry with Garou should also develop. But that will happen while the other heroes are still unaware of the sheer strength that Saitama has.
