“Ozark” season 4 is one of the drama’s that people want Netflix to renew and release soon. Although the third season premiered just three months ago, the viewers want the next installment as the story is getting more exciting with the twists and turns.
Netflix’s renewal -when will it be confirmed?
“Ozark” season 4 is still awaiting its renewal order from the American streaming service provider. It should come around this time since it has been a few months since the last episode aired.
Then again, despite not getting the “go” signal from Netflix yet, the team behind the show is reportedly working on “Ozark” season 4 already. They have already discussed what they will offer this time and where the story is heading.
Likewise, the renewal may be coming at any time now because this is not likely to be axed with its good ratings. As per Deadline, “Ozark” was always on top of the list when it comes to viewership ratings. This alone is enough for Netflix to consider the show’s renewal.
Season 4 theory on Ben’s fate
At any rate, as for the plot in the upcoming “Ozark” season 4, there is a theory that says Wendy's brother, Ben, could still be alive. In the previous installment, he was killed by a hired hitman named Nelson and he was shot just moments after talking to Wendy in a diner.
He was murdered and Nelson took his body back to Ozarks so he can be cremated in Marty’s funeral home. But as per Express, there is a fan theory that suggests this was not how things happened after Nelson shot Ben.
The wild theory that was posted on Reddit stated that Nelson is actually an FBI agent and he just saved Ben from harm. The fan believes that Nelson did not really shot Ben but only made it appear like that.
After “shooting” him, Nelson brought Ben to the FBI and he was trained to be an enforcer too! With that said, Ben and Nelson are now supposed to lead the crackdown on Wendy and Marty’s money laundering business.

Meanwhile, “Ozark” season 4 may premiere in 2022 if they can begin filming next year.
