The “PUBG” update 6.1 patch notes details a few exciting additions to the game. For instance, there’s a brand new map to play, a brand new weapon that can changes how gamers storm building and a cool new ride.
New map – Karakin
The “PUBG” update 6.1 brings a whole new map to the game. Karakin is an island located off the coast of Northern African, according to the game’s post. It measures 2 x 2 kilometers and its wide-open rocky terrain is the perfect setting for fast but challenging combat described as a combination of the pace of Sanhok and the tension of Miramar.
The new map can accommodate up to 64 players. Gamers must prepare themselves for a combination of long-distance rifle combat, underground engagements, and urban-style clashes. “PUBG” gameplay is even made more interesting with the introduction of a new hazard called Black Zone.

The new hazard is only available on the Karakin map. Black Zone basically forces players out of buildings as it targets buildings and levels them into smoking ruins.
The hazard is random. There will be times that towns will be left undamaged while at other times they may be totally flattened. The important thing players should remember is to get out fast once they hear the siren and they are located inside the purple circle on the minimap.
“PUBG” new weapon – Sticky Bomb (Karakin Only)
The “PUBG” update 6.1 brings a new throwable weapon into the game called Sticky Bomb. In addition, there’s a new element into the game called Breach Points, which changes its siege play.
Some walls and floors can be destroyed using Sticky Bombs. Doing so will earn the player breach points.
The new weapon allows players multiple options on how to storm a building. They might opt to blast the roof or go through the back of the building using Sticky Bombs.
The throwable weapon is likewise handy for explorers. There are hidden secret areas with hidden loot which can be accessed by blasting them when Sticky Bombs.
“PUBG” new vehicle – Motor Glider
The “PUBG” update 6.1 adds a new vehicle into the game, the Motor Glider. It’s a two-seater with one pilot and one passenger, who can use any weapon from the backseat. The vehicle is currently available only on Miramar and Erangel.
