Paris Hilton is set to get married but she allegedly got cold feet. As a result, it is not yet known if she will still tie the knot with her fiance Chris Zylka.
The 37-year-old heiress got engaged to the 33-year-old “The Leftovers” star in January. He proposed to her while on a skiing trip in Aspen. The engagement was also confirmed by the socialite’s rep to People.
Revealing how she felt at that time, Paris Hilton told the magazine, “I am so excited to be engaged to the love of my life and my best friend.” She added that she “never felt so happy, safe and loved” so he is the perfect partner for her in every way. Chris Zylka popped the question with a huge 20-carat pear-shaped diamond and Paris revealed she was surprised with the proposal and immediately said “yes.”
However, the couple’s wedding has been postponed and it is said that it was due to busy schedules. “Paris had her heart set on an 11/11 wedding. That was her dream date. But there's just too much to do and between her work and travel schedule, not enough time to do it," an insider told E! News.
The magazine further stated that Paris Hilton is dead set on getting married so it will take place. They want it sooner but the schedules won’t allow them. It was added that they want the “wedding of the century” so it needs a lot of preparations so the nuptials cannot happen as quickly as they initially hoped.
Gossip Cop quashed the rumors that Paris Hilton canceled her wedding to Chris Zylka because she got cold feet. The publication shared that Woman’s Day Australia claimed that the socialite was delaying the nuptials so she could have more time to think about it.
As if the report from E! News is not enough, GC reached out to Paris Hilton’s rep to comment on the allegations. Her spokesperson confirmed that the heiress’ schedule is “absolutely insane and she needs more time to plan.”
