Pringles is one of the most famous potato chip brands in the world, and over the years, it was able to maintain a good following worldwide. And as the times are changing, the brand also started to innovate to adapt to the trend and lifestyles of the new generation.
This is why today, Pringles is now offering a variety of flavors apart from the usual cheese, sour and cream, and original flavors. The brand is owned by Kelloggs, and as it continues to reinvent, it has come up with hip new tastes that some people may not even imagine as possible. But the response has always been good, so now, Pringles just launched its newest offering to potato chips lovers.
Adding another spicy flavor to the lineup
Pringles launched its Scorchin' collection in 2020, and it just added another fiery flavor which is the fourth in the collection. The snack brand unveiled its Pringles Scorchin' Sour Cream & Onion.
Grand Rapids Business Journal notes that this is the spicy version of the regular. Sour Cream & Onion but of course, but more flavorful and not just fiery hot.
Kelloggs Company revealed on Tuesday, June 23, that it has already rolled out the Pringles Scorchin’ Sour Cream & Onion, so it means it is already available in grocery and convenience stores. In any case, the other three spicy blends in the Scorchin’ collection include Cheddar, Chili & Lime, and spicy classic BBQ.
New flavors to enjoy from Pringles
Aside from this, Pringles also introduced some other interesting flavors, such as the Wendy’s spicy chicken sandwich and the wavy Pineapple Habanero. Although the flavors sound impossible, they have attracted many customers, and sales are not bad.
"We know that unique and spicy flavors are the top two things Zillenials look for when trying new snacks1, and those qualities happen to be a specialty of ours at Pringles," Pringle’s senior director of marketing, Gareth Maguire, said in a press release. "The debut of Pringles Scorchin' Sour Cream & Onion gives a kick to the classic tangy and zesty Pringles flavor and gives those looking for some spice in their life another reason to enjoy the new Scorchin' collection."
