SAN FRANCISCO, March 12, 2018 -- Smartling, a translation technology innovator, today announced the speaker lineup for its Global Ready™ annual conference, taking place March 15 at Bespoke in San Francisco.
The translation and localization event of the year, Global Ready™ will be an epic gathering of Smartling executives, customers, partners, and industry influencers for interactive educational sessions and workshops, along with value added professional networking opportunities.
Keynote speakers include Smartling customer Mackenzie Nicholson, who leads the Solutions team for Google Localization, which enables Google Products to leverage technology to execute, scale and curate localized experiences. Nicholson will discuss how Google MarketFinder helps its customers achieve their globalization goals, from content to payments and customer care to advertising.
Additional Smartling customer speakers from leading multinational businesses including WeWork, LucidChart, Pinterest and SAS, will provide insights on how these digital pioneers took their business to the next level, and/or maximized their return on translation and localization investments.
Forrester Research Analyst Brandon Purcell will provide insight into how customer analytics and AI are driving personalization.
Rounding out the speaker lineup is Smartling Co-Founder and CEO Jack Welde, an industry pioneer and one of the foremost thinkers in the translation sector, who will address conference attendees.
“A recent report determined enterprise businesses on average are already in 7 different global markets, with some in more than 20, and that 98% of surveyed organizations plan to localize content for new markets in 2018,” said Welde. “The digital revolution has catalyzed global expansion with a tremendous need for translation and localization of content powering applications, websites and other digital experiences to reach new markets. Our Global Ready conference will showcase those organizations that are successfully reducing the friction and uncertainty of entering new markets with our leading translation technology.
The conference agenda includes tracks for global marketers, localization managers and developers on key themes such as globalization strategy, overcoming common challenges in globalization efforts, best practices to streamline localization program execution, market selection, and measuring return on investment.
