Sofia Richie and Scott Disick haven’t always been open about their relationship, but the couple looked adorable as they were spotted holding hands while attending the opening of the Maddox gallery in Los Angeles on Thursday night. According to a witness who was at the location, the two stayed close together throughout the entire evening and their relationship seemed to be going strong.
“They seemed really smitten with one another, constantly smiling and making sure the other one was always close by,” the witness told Hollywood Life. “The couple talked to friends inside, but always stayed close and would constantly lock eyes and look at one another. It’s evident they really have feelings for each other.”
Well, Sofia Richie and Scott Disick have been dating for over a year now, so their actions on Thursday shouldn’t surprise anyone. However, there had been reports earlier this year stating that they have broken up. E! Online even reported that the couple really did break up in June due to Scott’s behavior during a trip to Wyoming, but they got back together after just two days apart. There seemed to be trouble brewing between the two, but Sofia would clear the air in September as she told the Sydney Morning Herald newspaper that their relationship has never been stronger.
"We are very happy, very lovey dovey," Sofia said. "We are best friends and that is mainly the strongest connection we have. We have always had that best friend connection and from there it has really worked out. I am so happy," she added.
Meanwhile, Sofia Richie shared a photo of herself with Scott Disick on Instagram last week. It showed Sofia seated on a bed in a black dress while Scott was on the background taking the photograph through a mirror. The caption reads, "The man in the mirror," and she added a heart-eyed to the post as well.
