‘Supernatural’ season 12’s episode 18, titled “The Memory Remains,” will follow Sam and Dean Winchester as they go on a new mission to hunt down a half man-half goat creature that may be abducting townspeople.
The lengthy synopsis for “The Memory Remains” posted on TV Guide reads, “Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) investigate a missing person's case in a small town. The lead witness tells them the attacker was a man with the head of a goat.
The brothers aren't sure what to believe, but when the witness goes missing they realize the town is hiding a dark secret.”
The upcoming episode is set to follow Sam and Dean as they tackle another interesting case, which involves a creature with a man’s body and the head of a goat. Although the Winchester brothers meet this piece of information with skepticism, they are forced to face the case head on when their lead witness on the investigation suddenly goes missing. They will soon discover that the town is harboring a dark secret.
The promo for episode 18 opens to Sam and Dean learning about a menacing monster with the head of goat living in one man’s basement. The man in question seems to believe that the creature is a god of some sort and that the people who went missing may actually be human sacrifices.
Promotional photographs posted on Spoilers Guide show the Winchester brothers taking their investigation to the man’s basement armed with weapons and flashlights. It seems that they will take down the creature head on despite its possible superhuman strength and power.
‘Supernatural’ season 12’s episode 18, titled “The Memory Remains,” is scheduled to air on The CW on April 13, 2017. It was directed by Phil Sgriccia and written by John Bring. It will be followed by episode 19, titled “The Future,” scheduled to be released on April 27 and directed by Amanda Tapping.
