Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes have been buffeted by false rumors and unfounded narratives lately. But a new report is making its round on the web providing a refreshing change. The news in question is the pair’s inclusion in a CGI-rendered billboard used to promote Slade Café, which recently opened in London, Evening Standard reported.
When onlookers started noticing Katie Holmes, they immediately recognized that the child she’s with is her daughter, Suri Cruise. Of course, there were two things that crossed people’s mind.
First, why are Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise located in the background of the billboard rather than in the front? Second, why would the billboard pass off the two as regular Londoners given that they aren’t living in London in the first place?
As it turns out, Suri Cruise and Katie Holmes’s inclusion was a blunder by someone who made the poster. It’s unknown who exactly is responsible for the gaffe as the architecture firm said the person who made the poster no longer works for them.
As an apology, The Royal Borough of Greenwich invited Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise for a free coffee to express their regret regarding the embarrassing oversight. Although the “Dawson's Creek” alum has been notified about the incident, the actress has yet to comment on the matter.
Right now, Katie Holmes is preparing herself as she landed the leading role of “The Boy 2,” a sequel to the 2016 horror film that starred Lauren Cohan. Suri Cruise, on the other hand, is busy with schoolwork as she continues to attend classes in Sacred Heart Catholic School.
The 12-year-old has lately been the subject of rumors as multiple publications released various false stories about the young girl’s personal life. The unfounded narratives include Suri Cruise’s relationship with Tom Cruise, Jamie Foxx, and Katie Holmes herself.
Although the teenager is still attracting all this attention, she’s trying to live a relatively normal life by going about the business of someone her age. Suri Cruise can’t afford to lose track of her academic life since Katie Holmes is said to be expecting a lot from her daughter.
