There is a palpable level of anticipation among those within the anime community who cannot wait for “Sword Art Online Alicization” Episode 11 to air. This is the episode where Kirito and Eugeo finally meet Alice after searching for her for two long years. They endured hardships and abuses in the process and overcame all of the obstacles placed before them. In the end, however, they are rewarded by being thrown in prison.
In the preview clip below, it’s obvious that the results of the reunion between Alice, Eugeo, and Kirito are not good. Although the absence of an English subtitle does make unraveling the meaning behind the video a challenge, it isn’t impossible to tell what is going on. Basically, the pair of swordsmen is going to be punished in “Sword Art Online Alicization” Episode 11 for what they did in the previous episode.
Kirito and Eugeo are going to be taken to Central Cathedral to be imprisoned due to their crimes of attacking the two rapist nobles in the previous episode. This was in direct violation of the Taboo Index, which it would appear that the current Alice is meant to protect. As a result, “Sword Art Online Alicization” Episode 11 will see the two awaiting sentencing for their actions.
It would also appear that Alice has no recollection of her times with Eugeo or Kirito. Although it is conceivable that she might not remember Kirito because even Eugeo saw him as a stranger, Alice should still remember her childhood friend. Does this mean that her memory was wiped? “Sword Art Online Alicization” Episode 11 might reveal a little more about that.
“Sword Art Online Alicization” Episode 11 will also feature the real world for a bit where Asuna experiences something strange. As to what that is, viewers will need to wait until Dec. 16 to find out.
