The previous episode of “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” featured yet another of Rimuru’s game-breaking bug abilities where he artificially created higher spirits to fuse with the children. In the process, it would seem that he created a destiny in Chloe that would inevitably pit them against each other. As for “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 24, it would seem that everyone’s favorite slime might become a true demon lord.
As AnimeNewsNetwork notes, the previous episode of “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” featured no epic battles or action scenes. It was a fairly peaceful episode with tons of heartwarming moments, but “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 24 might just change that. This is because of how Rimuru might be attacked and nearly killed, and then choosing to commit mass murder.
Just to be clear, it isn’t yet known how much of the light novel will be adapted in this season and if “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 24 will feature the events to come. However, if the current storyline is to be followed, some unfortunate things are about to happen. To start with, Rimuru will be attacked by Hinata, Shizu’s former student who hates monsters.
After escaping that particular ambush, the slime will discover that Tempest has been surrounded by thousands of soldiers who have since slaughtered numerous civilians. To cap things off, Shion will be killed, thus devastating Rimuru. However, if events flow as they have in the source, “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 24 will see Rimuru learning how to revive his secretary. It will simply require the sacrifice of 10,000 souls.
It just so happens that he will have more than enough to work with in “That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime” Episode 24 thanks to the invading army. Rimuru will choose to use them to become a demon lord and revive his slaughtered friends. Fans will find out soon enough if this is how the next episode will go when it airs on March 19.
