“The 100” season 6 is being filmed at the moment and while on the set, the cast keeps taking photos. They often share them on social media so fans are really happy because they get updates with those behind-the-scenes snaps.
In any case, “The 100” season 6 will pick up where the fifth season ended. The finale showed Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) waking up from their cryosleep and discovering that they had been sleeping for 125 years already. Monty Green (Christopher Larkin) and Harper McIntyre (Chelsey Reist) are nowhere in sight and it was revealed that the two sacrificed themselves so that others will live.
The last two characters were confirmed to exit the show and will not be returning in “The 100” season 6. Apparently, they died of old age before they were able to locate a new planet that is safe to live in. Clarke and Bellamy were woken by Jordan Green (Shannon Kook), someone they had never met before, and it turned out he is Monty and Harper’s son.
After waking up, what’s next for the survivors? What is their new world like? Express suggested that the crew will definitely wake up on a planet where intelligent life already exists.
Some avid viewers believe that their new “Earth” will be more advanced so the team could struggle at first trying to keep up with the kind of surrounding that is very foreign to them.
For some twist, some suggest that Eligius III was already on the new planet even before the survivors arrived. There is a possibility this will happen but fans have to wait for “The 100” season 6 to know the answer.
“The 100” season 6 is likely to premiere in spring of 2019, Den of Geek reported.
