“The 100” season 6 has been confirmed to be in the works after season 5 ended in August 2018. The production began after CW Network renewed the series for another run. Actually, the renewal was announced while the fifth installment is airing which only proves that the sci-fi drama is a hit.
Plus, CW Network hinted that more season could follow after “The 100” season 6.. Mark Pedowitz, president of CW revealed that they have plans of extending the show for the seventh installment and beyond. And although this is still being discussed, the probability is high due to the good overall performance of the series.
At the Winter Television Critics Association press tour, the CW boss relayed, “Jason Rothernberg (show producer) may have a six or seven-year plan to it. I don't know if I'm allowed to even say that, that he has a plan beyond year five, but he does.”
Plot
“The 100” season 6 will pick up from where the fifth season left off. It will continue with the story from season 5 episode 13’s “Damocles Part 2.” This is the time when the team escaped from the chaos on Earth and was put to cryosleep in order to remain safe while they navigate for a new home. However, two individuals, Monty Green (Christopher Larkin) and Harper (Chelsey Reist) did not sleep and their teammates are clueless about this.
Everyone woke up after more than a hundred year and by this time, Monty and Harper already passed away but they left a son called Jordan. When everyone woke up, the son is already 27 years old and he needs to explain to Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) and Bellamy Blake (Bob Morley) what happened.
Air Date
The premiere date for “The 100” season 6 is not yet available at this time but based on predictions, it may arrive between the months of March and May this year.
