‘The Flash’ season 3’s episode 21, titled "Cause and Effect," will follow Barry as he executes a risky plan with the rest of Team Flash in order to defeat Savitar. Meanwhile, H.R. will continue to push Tracy Brand to design a special trap for the evil speedster. It will be interesting to see if she can complete the trap in time.
The synopsis for “Cause and Effect” posted on TV Guide reads, “Barry (Grant Gustin) takes drastic measures to stop Savitar. Meanwhile, H.R. (Tom Cavanagh) continues to push Tracy Brand (guest star Anne Dudek) to design the trap for Savitar; and Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) returns with an interesting proposal.”
The upcoming episode for the live-action adaptation of Marvel’s comic book character of the same name is set to follow the main protagonist Barry Allen a.k.a. The Flash as he and his team set a risky plan in motion in hopes of defeating the powerful villain Savitar. It was revealed in the previous episode that Savitar was indeed the evil god of speed. The new episodes will set-up the final showdown between Barry and his current nemesis.
According to Comic Book Movie, the team will be hard at work at the S.T.A.R. labs to come up with a plan to defeat the villain. H.R. will push Tracy Brand to create an ingenious trap as she is the key to defeating Savitar. Tracy was introduced as a genius scientist, who is expected to design a special cell needed to trap the evil speedster in the Speed Force for all of eternity.
It is presumed that Dudek will play the character as the series moves on to season 4, which was renewed on The CW last January 2017.
‘The Flash’ season 3’s episode 21, titled "Cause and Effect," is scheduled to air on The CW on May 9, 2017. It was directed by David McWhirter and written by Judalina Neira and Lauren Certo. It will be followed by episode 22, titled "Infantino Street," directed by Michael Allowitz and scheduled to be released on May 16.
