“The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 11 will be coming back next year and fans of the medical drama series can’t wait for its return given how the recent finale ended. The previous episode saw a viral outbreak that already claimed three people including the life of EMT Tyler (Dan Byrd).
To make things worse, Dr. Lim (Christina Chang) is also infected and passes out after forcing herself to fight the sickness while trying to help Dr. Morgan with surgery. What’s more, Murphy (Freddie Highmore) succumbed to his anxiety attack after the chaos brought by the virus proved too much for the main protagonist. The buzzing of fluorescent lights forced the doctor to cover his ears and fans are hoping he’ll snap out of it in “The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 11.
On a lighter note, Lim and Melendez (Nicholas Gonzalez) seem to be developing quite the romance as the finale saw them sleeping together. Although this might have been a shock for some, most of the show’s fans saw this coming a mile away. It would be interesting to see how showrunners handle this relationship in “The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 11, especially now that Lim is fighting for her life.
After Lim passed out from her quickly worsening condition, Melendez can be seen with a worried look indicating that what he feels for his colleague is far deeper than the show is implying. Sure, a one-time steamy encounter under the sheets can help with the sexual tension in the workplace. But it seems that Melendez truly cares for Lim and wants to take what they have seriously. Right now, however, Lim still needs to pull through in “The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 11.
The best scenario for her is Murphy recovering from his anxiety attack and take control of the situation. Hopefully, the genius physician manages to govern his emotions and contain the outbreak that is rapidly spreading. As for when “The Good Doctor” Season 2 Episode 11 will be returning, it was announced that it’s slated to air on Jan. 14, 2019.
