‘The Good Doctor’ Season 2: When Will Episode 5 Air? Here’s Where to Watch It Online

“The Good Doctor” season 2 tells the story of Dr. Shaun Murphy, an extraordinary surgeon who has autism and savant syndrome. He uses his medical gift of near-photographic recall and the ability to remember every detail and change.

Although he finds it hard to connect with his colleagues, his skills make him great in their eyes. Plus, despite his autism, his gifts enable him to surpass his co-doctors' medical skills.

“The Good Doctor” season 2 is now on its fifth episode but its title and synopsis are not available yet. This could be because the medical drama is skipping a week before releasing the next. It aired episode 4, titled “Tough Titmouse,” on Oct. 15 and there is no schedule for Oct. 22.

In “The Good Doctor” season 2 episode 4, Dr. Aaron Glassman had a surgery for his brain cancer and his treatment made him hallucinate. The lack of sleep worsened his hallucinations that revealed heartbreaking truths about his family, especially about his daughter Maddie.

As per TV Line, Dr. Glassman’s deceased daughter appeared before him and they fought over their broken relationship. Their discussion led to the time when Maddie tragically died from a drug overdose and it appears that the doctor was partly to be blamed. While still in the hallucinatory state, it was revealed that Dr. Glassman locked his daughter up in the house instead of bringing her to a rehab, as suggested by his wife.

The doctor refused the suggestion because he thought he could heal his daughter and make her sober again. But her death proved that his decision was very wrong. He was very remorseful, but in the end, he and his daughter reconciled when she told him she knows how much he loves her.

After the bitter confrontation and forgiving ending with declarations of love for one another, Dr. Glassman finally calmed down and was able to sleep. Waking up 13 hours after, he was now on his way to healing. It was hinted that the doctor will be able to win his fight against the Big C and regain his good physical and mental health.

“The Good Doctor” season 2 is 18 episodes long and viewers who can’t watch it on TV can tune in to NOW TV to watch it online. ABC Go and Hulu are other good options to view the show.
