Tom Cruise reportedly gave up being a Scientologist just to be with Suri Cruise. Based on the reports, the “Mission Impossible” decided to ditch his church so he can finally reunite with his teenage daughter.
Tom and Suri’s alleged reunion
As per the report that appeared on In Touch Weekly, after Tom Cruise came across a photo of Suri Cruise, he noticed how grown up she is now. That moment, he realized that he wanted to see her again. A source said that if the A-list actor ever quit and leave the church of Scientology, the only reason would be his 14-year-old child.
“He saw a photo of Suri looking all grown up and it changed everything,” the unnamed tipster supposedly told the magazine. "Tom has sacrificed the most important things in his life for Scientology and if he ever were to escape Scientology, it would be because of his daughter.”
It was added that Tom Cruise figures that since Katie Holmes has broken up with Jamie Foxx, and Suri has no father figure anymore, it would be the perfect timing for him to finally reach out to his daughter.
The actor thinks that this is also the best time for him to make up for all the lost time between him and his child. The insider revealed Tom Cruise wants to reunite with Suri before it’s too late.
However, the source stated that while the actor can choose to leave Scientology, it will be a nightmare for him in case he actually quits. This is because the church knows a lot about him including his “darkest secrets.”
The truth about Tom ditching his church
Is it true that Tom Cruise is leaving his church for Suri Cruise? After some investigation, Gossip Cop determined that there is no truth in this story.
The publication pointed out that the actor dedicated his life to the church for so many years plus it is a well-known fact that he is religion’s biggest supporter and this has not changed even today. GC stated that Tom Cruise never show any indication that he is planning to leave to be with his daughter.
