‘Veep’ season 6’s episode 4, titled “Justice,” will follow Selina and her team as they attend the funeral of an important Supreme Court justice. Meanwhile, Amy will continue her search for the perfect location for Selina’s future library.
The synopsis for episode 4 posted on TV Guide reads, “Selina (Julia Louise-Dreyfus) and her team attend a funeral for a Supreme Court justice; Amy (Anna Chlumsky) tries to nail down a location for Selina's library; Dan (Reid Scott) tries to stay on Jane's (guest star Margaret Colin) good side; Jonah (Timothy C. Simmons) finds an issue.”
The upcoming episode is set to keep Julia and her team busy as they attend the funeral of a Supreme Court justice. The promo opens to Julia, dressed head-to-toe in black, bombarded by members of the press asking her about the departed justice. She tells them, “He was a friend to all people, especially corporations, who he legally considered to be people.”
Meanwhile, Dan joins Catherine (Sarah Sutherland) and Marjorie (Clea DuVall) at the doctor’s office to hear about their results. The couple previously enlisted Dan’s help to be their sperm donor.
When the physician asks if it is alright to discuss the results together, Dan nervously replies, “Sure. Whatever. I’m just the cream filling in this gayclaire.” He will also attempt to stay on Jane’s good side in the upcoming episode.
Amy, on the other hand, will get busy as she tries to explore options and locations for Selina’s “presidential” library. Selina was pining to get a massive library of her own in the previous episode, titled “Library.”
According to the recap posted on TVLine, Selina’s efforts to establish one were waylaid when she discovered that her ex-husband and occasional lover, Andrew (David Pasquesi), was having an affair with the woman who painted her official portrait. The other woman was portrayed by ‘Grace and Frankie’ alum June Diane Raphael.
‘Veep’ season 6’s episode 4, titled “Justice,” is scheduled to air on HBO on May 7, 2017. It was directed by Dale Stern and written by Rachel Axler. It will be followed by episode 5, titled “Chicklet,” directed by Beth McCarthy-Miller and written by Gabrielle Allan and Jennifer Crittenden and scheduled to be released on May 14.
