It is a big sigh of relief now that it appears “Warcraft 3: Reforged” developers will deliver its promise of regular release of patch notes. Update 1.32.4 of the game finally appeared online right before April ends.
‘Warcraft 3: Reforged’ patch 1.32.4 finally emerges online
Another long list of patches has been revealed by Blizzard Entertainment on Tuesday for update 1.32.4 of “Warcraft 3: Reforged.” But most fans might be more interested in knowing that developers have re-enabled the single-player mode in Custom Games in this round of patches.
Players will be able to access it through the “Create Games” section on the main menu. Blizzard has also addressed several issues in “Warcraft 3: Reforged” Custom Games such as bugs affecting the unit attacks, and that makes the Custom Hero Survival crash from time to time.
The “Art” section of the “Warcraft 3: Reforged” patch notes 1.32.4 has the most listed items of improvements and fixes. Appearances of Northrend Tress as well as footprints of Trolls, vehicles, and Undead units were enhanced. Tuskarr Trapper should now appear to throw his spear, among other fixes, in the game’s visuals aspect. Graphics are promised to appear generally better and more readable after developers adjusted the lighting and colors in “Reforged.”
The game’s UI also received some attention in this patch. The sepia background for the Classic version of “Warcraft 3” should now return to its familiar state. Mac players can also expect the “Use Command Button for Hotkeys” function to work properly.
In the gameplay department, “Warcraft 3: Reforged,” developers fixed some desync issues linked to destructible items flagged as “Walkable.” The Troll mercenary unit in “Reforged” will now show selection circles that are smaller and more similar to what’s seen in the Classic game – the same nature of fix was also done on Neutral unit selection. Sound effects have also been adjusted to be more accurate, specifically on the Doom Guards, Troll Tappers, Alchemist, and Flesh Golem.
‘Warcraft 3: Reforged’ updates promised to arrive every month
Over the previous weeks, some fans got a little concern that developers were silent about the next update fearing they would not deliver “Warcraft 3: Reforged” patch 1.32.4 on time. It is a nice surprise that the speculations were proven wrong in the final days of the month. It can be recalled that Blizzard promised fans it dedicated a team to work on patching the game and release a monthly update.
