Youth INC to Ring The Nasdaq Stock Market Closing Bell

What:
Youth INC, a nonprofit organization that aims to transform the lives of NYC kids through our unique venture philanthropy model that empowers the nonprofits that serve them, will Ring the Nasdaq Stock Market Closing Bell to conclude the Canaccord Genuity Trading Week For Kids with a goal of raising $400,000. In the past four years under Canaccord Genuity’s partnership, this single event has raised $3.4 million in support of the youth of New York City. Also being recognized at the event is Code/Interactive (C/I) a S.T.E.M organization and Youth INC Partner Nonprofit. Code/Interactive cultivates the potential of America’s youth by ensuring that all students have access to a high-caliber computer science education, entrepreneurship opportunities, and industry exposure.

In honor of the occasion, Rehana Farrell, Executive Director of Youth INC, and Bob McCooey, Youth INC Board Member and Senior Vice President of Nasdaq’s Listing Services unit will ring the Closing Bell along with the Youth INC staff, board, and students from the Code/Interactive program. Both Rehana Farrell and Bob McCooey will be available for interviews upon request.
