CARLSBAD, Calif., June 8, 2016 -- 3E Company, a leading provider of environmental health and safety (EH&S) compliance and information management services, today announced the launch of new employee and workplace safety stewardship capabilities. 3E now offers 24/7/365 Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) incident notification and reporting services, hazard communication training materials, and single sign-on authentication services for customers. 3E Company is a Verisk Analytics (Nasdaq:VRSK) business.
"3E is committed to providing risk mitigation solutions to improve workplace safety and enhance product stewardship with the ultimate goal of protecting employees and the environment," said Uday Virkud, CEO and president, 3E Company. "3E's experts constantly monitor the dynamic and evolving regulatory landscape to identify innovative ways to serve our customers. We're pleased to offer new incident reporting and hazard communication training services to help industry more proactively and efficiently comply with emerging regulations."
3E now offers end-to-end OSHA incident notification and reporting services. Under Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Title 29 Part 1904, employers must report work-related injuries, illnesses, and fatalities to OSHA within set time frames. With the new incident reporting services, 3E's EH&S call center in Carlsbad can provide live, multilingual support whenever an incident occurs-24/7/365. 3E's compliance experts can determine whether an incident is reportable, follow customized notification protocols, obtain and record relevant information, complete the documentation, and generate and/or deliver the necessary OSHA information to the customer for reporting purposes.
In addition, 3E has added hazard communication training and document storage capabilities to its flagship Safety Data Sheet (SDS) and chemical inventory management solution, 3E Online® - SDS. The company now offers hazard communication training materials, including an employee manual, training presentation, training attendance sheet, test, and answer sheet. 3E Online customers can customize these baseline training materials to fit the needs of employees at each of their facilities as required under OSHA's Hazard Communication Standard. Customers can also upload and store each site's training materials, permits, and regulatory disclosures within 3E Online to ensure quick access for employees during inspections.
3E has also streamlined the 3E Online user experience by adding single sign-on authentication capabilities within the application. Single sign-on authentication increases data security, simplifies user administration and password management, and improves productivity for users by eliminating the need to enter credentials multiple times.
All services and enhancements are available immediately.
