(NASDAQ:CNXR), a provider of web-based information systems used to create health insurance marketplaces, announced today that it has been selected to create and operate an AARP-branded online marketplace designed exclusively for people 50 and over.

The new website will leverage Connecture’s advanced comparison tools and personalized support technology to deliver a robust and holistic shopping experience. The AARP Direct Select platform will guide AARP’s members and other consumers through the comparison and purchasing process across a wide selection of health insurance and financial products.

Connecture has launched a pilot version of the online marketplace in select states, including Arizona, Illinois, Utah, Michigan, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Additional states are scheduled for 2017.
