ACME Solar Holdings Limited reported unaudited consolidated profit after tax of ₹268.66 crore for the quarter ended Sept. 30, 2026, as a wholly owned subsidiary signed a 400-megawatt power agreement with NTPC Limited.

Profit after tax was up 133.5% from ₹115.07 crore in the year-earlier quarter. ACME Solar’s board approved the standalone and consolidated unaudited results on Oct. 28. The filing included a limited review report from the company’s joint statutory auditors.

The company’s earnings release put “Total Revenue” at ₹1,007 crore, 67.5% higher than a year earlier. It reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) of ₹874 crore, up 63.6%. The consolidated results statement lists revenue from operations of ₹887.01 crore and total income of ₹1,007.08 crore, including ₹120.07 crore in other income.

ACME linked the revenue increase chiefly to added battery storage and renewable energy capacity. It said power generation totaled 1,840 million units in the fiscal second quarter, 19.6% above the same period a year earlier. The company also reported sales of 324 million units from short-term battery storage operations during peak-power periods.

The Economic Times reported that ACME Solar shares rose as much as 5% to ₹432 during trading on Oct. 29.

ACME raised its fiscal 2027 target for cumulative commissioned battery storage from 10 gigawatt-hours (GWh) to more than 12 GWh. Its 2030 target for renewable generation capacity increased from 10 gigawatts (GW) to 15 GW. The company presented both figures as targets. The revised storage goal continues the rollout covered in earlier reporting on ACME Solar’s battery expansion.

ACME Marigold Urja Private Limited signed the agreement with NTPC for 400 MW of firm and dispatchable renewable energy under NTPC’s FDRE Tranche 01. The filing sets a tariff of ₹4.37 per unit. Supply is scheduled to begin June 30, 2028, when the agreement’s 25-year term also begins.
