SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., April 27, 2017 -- AMMO, Inc. (OTC:POWW) – When on a hunt, it’s easy to spend hours or even days in a blind or out stalking, waiting for just the right trophy. When that perfect animal does come along, today’s hunter wants the confidence in knowing that the bullet chambered is going to be accurate and deliver the power to get the job done on the first shot.
No hunter wants to have to take a second shot to finish a kill, chase an injured animal – or even worse – lose track of it all together only to have it suffer and die slowly in the wild. That’s why AMMO, Inc. has teamed up with award-winning and famed Professional Hunter Jeff Rann, for a new signature line of ammunition.
“To have someone with the incredible experience and accomplishment of Jeff Rann on our label is a win for hunters all over the world,” said AMMO, Inc. CEO, Fred Wagenhals. “Jeff is the go-to person when it comes to knowing exactly what a hunter needs for the game he is hunting. We are proud to have him as a part of our family.”
“I am very happy to be able to partner with AMMO, Inc.,” said Rann. “Having a high performance, perfectly balanced, premium quality round is the only option for my hunters and me. Knowing that AMMO, Inc. produces at such an extraordinary level makes it easy for me to put my name on the ammunition.”
Rann has spent four decades as a professional hunter. His career in Africa, hunting extensively in Zambia, Tanzania and Botswana. In 1995, the Botswana Government awarded Rann Safaris a 15-year renewable lease in concessions in the Okavango Delta. Rann still has these leases; as well as others in Botswana, Zambia and Tanzania.
In 2002, Rann purchased the world-famous 777 Ranch in Hondo, Texas, recognized for over 50 years as one of the greatest Texas Game Ranches. In 2007, he became host of Federal Premium's "Dangerous Game Show" on NBC Sports Channel.
Rann was named 1987 Botswana Professional Hunter of the year and 1998 SCI International Professional Hunter of the Year. In 2017, he was honored with the Safari Club International C. J. McElroy Award, the founder of Safari Club International. He is the first African Professional Hunter to receive this award. Rann continues to operate professionally in Botswana, Zambia, Tanzania, and South Africa.
The Jeff Rann-branded ammunition will be on sale beginning July 2017 in two signature lines – Safari Series and American Hunter Series. The multiple calibers offered are built to AMMO, Inc.’s high standards to deliver reliably and with repeatable and predictable results.
