HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo., March 26, 2018 -- Advanced Emissions Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:ADES) (the “Company" or “ADES”) today announced that its Board of Directors (the "Board") has approved the repurchase of up to an aggregate of $20 million of the Company’s common stock in the open market. Previously, the Board approved the purchase of up to $10 million of common stock. As of March 22, 2018, an aggregate of 446,026 of the Company's common stock has been purchased under the Stock Repurchase Program, for a total of $4.5 million, out of the allocated $20 million. The repurchases will continue to be funded from cash on-hand.

The timing and exact number of common shares purchased will be at the Company’s discretion and will depend on market conditions. The stock repurchase program will terminate on December 31, 2018 or upon utilization of the $20 million authorized repurchase amount, but may be extended by the Board. The Company may suspend or discontinue the repurchases at any time. Subject to applicable securities laws and stock exchange rules, all purchases will occur through the open market and may be in large block purchases. Advanced Emissions Solutions, Inc. does not intend to purchase its shares from its management team or other insiders.
